Abstract

The article is a tribute to Professor Brânduşa Zaiţa Silvestru, considered the fairy of puppets in Romania, trying to capture both the professional profile of the great actress of puppet theatre, but also lesser-known aspects of her life as beloved teacher. A complex personality, with multiple artistic, literary and pedagogical talents, she is presented through the eyes of students, stage colleagues and the audience that adored her. There are also funny episodes, because, in addition to all the listed qualities, Brânduşa Zaiţa Silvestru was a person with an aura of kindness, joy and contagious humor, which all those who knew her and unconditionally loved her miss.
