Abstract

Scenography is a complex art that aims to model the imagination of the public using visual messages transmitted by the association of concrete elements. Architectural documentation through sketches captures this aspect. Details of both their execution and their sense of observation are also very important. The science of detailing helps in both architecture and scenography. Through parallelism with architecture, scenographers develop concepts such as: space and character, space and light etc. Speaking of space as a boundless entity that contains and surrounds all objects, it is defined by what man perceives, full and empty, shadow and light, time travel, having an aesthetic dimension that is perceived historically and stylistically, differently. The scenographer artist aims, by presenting the plastic elements, in a finished form, in the setting, to stimulate the spectator’s imagination using all this vocabulary similar to that of an architect.
