Abstract

Director Alexander Nanau discusses in this interview about his latest documentary „Collective”. The film was awarded at various festivals, including DocAviv Film Festival, It’s all true International Documentary Film Festival Brazil, Iceland Documentary Film Festival, One World Prague, while Alexander Nanau received the Drew Award 2020 at DOC NYC. The filmmaker tells us about the research process, the challenges during the production and distribution process, and also about his opinions regarding the medical system in Romania, the corruption, and the parallel to the current situation: the pandemic due to COVID-19.
